International Relations Review of Berkeley
The International Relations Review of Berkeley (IRRB) is an undergraduate academic journal created by the International Relations Council of Berkeley. Founded in 2016, the Council consists of five member organizations—Sigma Iota Rho, Delta Phi Epsilon, UC Berkeley Model United Nations, Berkeley Model United Nations, and Amnesty International. The mission of the Council is to facilitate dialogue on global issues and encourage cooperation between organizations related to the field of international relations. This journal is just one expression of that dialogue. IRRB aims to explore the political, economic, social and cultural transformations taking place across the globe through in-depth analyses from the university’s undergraduate class.
Submissions: This semester’s theme is yet to be announced
Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Please allow two to four weeks for a response from the editorial board. Authors may submit a total of three articles each; however, a new form must be completed for each submission. Only one article per author may be published in a single semester. Articles must be original, unpublished works, relevant to the field of international relations. Articles must be between 2,000 and 8,000 words with 1-inch margins, 12-point Times New Roman font, and double-spaced. Bibliographies and footnotes or endnotes should follow Chicago Manual of Style, 15th or 16th edition. All identifying features, such as the author’s name or course information, must be redacted from the article to ensure a blind review process.
